So this happened…

Basically, I posted something on my blog a while back, asking for an RP partner comfortable with playing a hetero ship. I found out a few weeks later that a group of RPers who follow me said I probably sucked at RPing, because I only play female OC’s, and prefer hetero. Excuse me. But just because I prefer playing hetero, as a female, doesn’t make me a shitty role player, or a slut. I like plots, I like building up tension. Sure, I like smut and fluff too, but seriously, the assumptions that just because I don’t enjoy playing males, and like cutesy things in my RP’s from time to time, doesn’t demean my skills as a roleplayer. I have a right to RP what I want. The person who was gossiping about me realized I knew and deactivated. Still bugs me though.

Some are OC's and our group doesn't mind interacting with OC's too much but we prefer to stick to canon. I used to RP on this private bulletin board set up for kids whose families were involved in a certain nonprofit organization. Since even the idea of having RPs came from the forum users rather than anyone in charge of the site and the mods never paid any attention anyway, we pretty much had to police ourselves if we wanted any sort of rules in place.
